Ved Verdens Ende

During filming in Indonesia an English film crew discovers a special flower, but gets shot and killed trying to film it. The shooter is a Dane, Severin Geertsen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) who is captured and sentenced to death. A Danish criminal psychiatrist, Adrian (Nikolaj Lie Kaas), and his assistant, Beate (Birgitte Hjort Sørensen), come to Indonesia to perform a mental examination of Severin. During the examination, Severin claims to be 129 years of age due to the powers of the special flower. At first Adrian and Beate have a hard time believing Severin, but soon they are fleeing international fortune hunters and the Indonesian army, who are all seeking the flower that brings eternal life.
