At Gronnegaard, Emil is getting ready for Melody's birthday. Meanwhile, Frederik tries to prove his worth and regain the trust of the family following his absence.

Gro questions how much support she can give her young artists, while Emil attempts to console Frederik, who is determined to lash out at those around him.

The fallout from Hannah's death continues to haunt her parents, Kim has more bad news for Gro, whose career woes make her decide to take a break, Signe's pig farming project moves a step closer when she outwits her feuding neighbour.

Frederik and Pitus's work starts to bear fruit, but they are treading a fine line on the edge of the law. Meanwhile, Signe's business starts to gain momentum.
