Inspired by local politics, Rita holds an election in her class. Uffe gets a job at the school, but it sparks conflict with Hjordis.

Helle hires a motivational coach for the students. Meanwhile Jeppe moves in with his boyfriend, and Rita struggles with living on her own.

A problem student goes on a destructive rampage, Hjordis makes progress with her second graders, and a man from Rita's past shows up.

To combat loneliness, Rita invites some students to her house. Meanwhile, Hjordis tries to spice up her sex life with Uffe.

Rita's fourth graders come down with head lice, and she decides to delouse them herself. Meanwhile, Helle faces evaluation by her peers.

Rita tries to keep the police in the dark when Hjordis decides on the perfect item to bury in a time capsule: marijuana.
