In "Terkel I Knibe" Terkel (Anders Matthesen) is in the 7th grade and is just trying to make it day by day without losing life or limb to the bullies who constantly harass him at school. He isn't a popular kid. In fact, he only really has one friend, Jason (Faso), who carries an iron bar for protection and has a violent streak. The overweight girl at school, Doris, has a huge crush on Terkel, but Terkel does not return her feelings. After Doris kills herself over Terkel's rejection, he begins getting anonymous notes threatening to kill him. Terkel's homelife is no picnic either. There's his mother who is living in her own little world, oblivious to her son's problems. There's his father, who hardly speaks a word, burying his head in the daily newspaper instead of communicating. And worst of all is Terkel's Uncle Stewart, a mean alcoholic. Terkel is just trying to stay alive and make it out of junior high in one piece.
