A compilation film of two shorter subjects, both introduced by Jiminy Cricket (Cliff Edwards). In "Bongo," a young circus bear accidentally gets separated from his train and finds himself in the woods. There, he meets a female bear and falls in love. In "Mickey and the Beanstalk," Mickey Mouse (Walt Disney), Goofy (Pinto Colvig) and Donald Duck (Clarence Nash) are put into the fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk." When the trio are forced to sell their cow, Goofy trades it in for some magic beans, and soon the trio are facing off against a fearsome giant at the top of the beanstalk.
