NaPolA is the story of Friedrich Weimer (Max Riemelt), a young German boy who possesses an incredible amount of ability at one of the nation’s most popular sports, boxing. In 1942, Weimer’s boxing acumen is recognized and the boy is sent to train at the National Political Academy. The academy is recognized for producing the best of the best of Nazi officers and Friedrich sees his training as a means to escape his life of poverty. As the brutality of the academy and the Nazi party itself is slowly revealed to Friedrich he begins to question whether attending the academy was the right decision.
