This collection centers around the classic idea of a bard sitting by the fire and telling stories. The Storyteller (John Hurt) narrates the stories while they are acted out by live actors. He is joined by the fire by his Dog (Brian Henson) The tales are adaptations of classic folk tales from around the world, some of which may be familiar. The content is appropriate for both adults and children alike.
