Harry Turner (Scott Bakula) is a frustrated wife. She is married to Marjorie Turner (Kirstie Alley), a doctor. She has some sort of an inferiority complex, too. One day, while shopping she meets a handsome young man and they get into a sexual relationship. However, he dies during the love play, and Harry flees from the spot. Her purse is lost somewhere and it gets into the hands of a sales person, Roger (Teddy M. Haggarty). When he opens the door, he falls with a bar on top of the dead man. He and Harry then leaves the place. On investigation, it is revealed that the dead man is Harry's brother- in-law who was to visit the family shortly. The problems are unending.
