A fantastic world is created by Director Ron Howard in Willow. Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis) is a peacable farmer and a Nelwyn, but also a fledgling magician. When the world is threatened by the evil queen Bavmorda (Jean Marsh) Willow sets off in an attempt to save the world by helping the prophesied baby Elora Danan bring an end to Bavmorda's evil reign. Along the way Willow meets Madmartigan (Val Kilmer) who will either help him on his quest or perhaps not, it rather depends on his mood. The two are also helped in their quest by Fin Raziel, a sorceress who has been turned by Bavmorda into a possum. As they attempt to reach Bavmorda and confront her they are first stopped by the queen's daughter Sorsha (Joanne Whalley), but she later joins them in their efforts to overthrow her mother. In the end the only thing that matters is saving Elora Danan from the clutches of the evil Bavmorda.
