The Believer

Danny Balint (Ryan Gosling) is a young Jewish man who struggles greatly to find truth in his life. Influenced by the teachings of the Ku Klux Klan and Neo-Nazi fascists, Danny begins to hate his faith and all Jewish people. He does all he can to distance himself from the religion and openly abstains from practicing it. Danny even begins to hate myself for being conceived in such a faith, but as he begins to analyze himself he also begins to understand the true nature of the Jewish faith. This understanding allows Balint to reconcile with himself and gain a sense of peacefulness about his life that will change him forever.
