Captain Fuller and the rest of the team investigate after a ninth grade student is kidnapped from school.
Hanson goes undercover at a rough school after a drug dealer is found shot to death in the parking lot. Penhall dons a uniform and patrols with a veteran officer that works in the community. Hoffs tries to help a junkie involved in the case.
With Fuller's help, Penhall tries to prove that Adabo pushed the drug dealer from the roof, and Hanson replaces him on the beat with Adabo. Meanwhile, Hoffs tries to help Darlene get clean. Also, Hoffs and Penhall turn to each other for help with their problems.
Following an increase in drunk driver accidents involving teens Hanson and Penhall investigate the source providing fake identifications to underage drinkers. Meanwhile, Captain Fuller gets busted for DUI.
Fuller and Hoffs go undercover in a violent school after a teacher is shot by a student. Also, Hanson's mom moves in with her boyfriend.

Hanson and Penhall work as body guards protecting a popular young actor that has received threatening letters. Drug dealer Tyrell "Waxer" Thompson escapes from prison and goes after Hanson for revenge.
Hoffs and Penhall go into a school to investigate illegal steroid use after a gymnast student dies. Also, Hanson considers joining the Big Brothers organization.
INS and Internal Affairs show up to investigate Ioki with the allegation that he is not who he claims to be and that he has entered the United States illegally.
Hanson and Penhall investigate students that participate in illegal street races. The outcome of that investigation sends both back to the Police Academy but Hanson gets off track on his way there.
Hanson goes into a school to protect a student that the community doesn't want there because he has AIDS. Also, Penhall's high school flame shows up at his apartment.
Having no dates to celebrate Valentine's Day with, the men of 21 Jump Street play poker and exchange bad date stories.
Hanson investigates allegations that teens are being mistreated in a private hospital alcohol and drug rehabilitation program. Kenny Weckerly and his family (from the pilot episode) are involved.
When Hanson and Amy go to the supermarket a armed gunman takes them and the cashier hostage and has a traumatizing ending for Hanson and everyone involved.
Hanson, Penhall and Hoffs go undercover to solve a case involving multiple incidents of shoplifting and a stolen Porsche.
Hanson investigates an arson case involving a book burning incident and a science teacher that wants to teach Creationism in school.
Hoffs works a drug case by going undercover and becoming the dealer's girlfriend, but she gets a little too close. On the same case, Penhall and Ioki go into a school posing as "twins" who want to help ship the drugs.
Hanson and Penhall end up dealing with a suicide while investigating a series of house break-ins.
Penhall and Hoffs work a special detail assignment to transport a juvenile offender.
Hanson investigates a series of bathroom bombings in the final case of the school year. The Jump Street Program is suspended for the summer. The team disperses to summer jobs knowing that it may not be renewed in the fall.
