Seeking refuge in a small apartment Kara keeps in Paris, Supergirl, Nightwing and Flamebird find themselves attacked again when tensions between Kara and Thara flare up. This time Squad K, the military group with technology and training specifically targeted at Kryptonians has come to France to apprehend them.

Dubbed 'The Metropolis Three', and framed for murdering Mon-El and tainting Metropolis' water supply, they return to Metropolis to take shelter in Lana Lang's apartment where they resolve that the only course left to them is to obtain a confession that clears their names.
