Atmahn, Kellel and Dinanna continue their progress towards Castle Branek. Ultraman, Superwoman and Owlman attempt to ambush their counterparts only to find that empowered as they are now, the Crime Syndicate is no match for them. But even as they lick their wounds and prepare for another attempt to ambush the Trinity, they're confronted by Enigma. Morgan didn't consult him when she accepted their help, and he will never forgive them for what they did to his family.

As the Trinity continues to draw closer, Morgan's list of allies grows thin. The only hope she has for victory are in Tarot's mysterious words, that the power she needs is close.
