Loki's treachery stands revealed to William, the resident of Broxton who followed the Asgardians to Latveria for the love of Kelda. He's been accosted, and badly wounded by Loki's henchmen who would have slain him if not for the timely arrival of Balder. Surviving just long enough to warn the leader of the Asgardians about his brother's treachery, Balder honors William with a warrior's burial. In Broxton, however, Loki and Doom's strike on Donald Blake is only barely prevented by the watchfulness of Sif and the raw might of Volstagg.
