Captain Marvel Jr begins to come to terms with his new powers.Sabina is threatened by the Council of Merlin to improve her record against the Captain.Seeking out the next god, Hercules, Jr finds him in prison, accused of murdering several people. They may have been bystanders in a magical war, but because they are innocents, Hercules has to stay in jail. He tells Jr that the trial he faces is to get Hercules out of prison. Unfortunately, there is no way this can be done.Sabina, meanwhile, later appears to Hercules and asks him to grant her his powers and she will ignore the rules and break him out. He refuses and she steals his powers; as she comes face to face with Jr, Hercules grants him his powers and the pair face off.
