Dan is recovering from the events of last issue when his mother drops a bombshell: Dan and his sister Barbara were adopted. Meanwhile, the maniacal Madcap goes on a rampage in Grand Central Station driving the patrons mad and causing them to commit horrific acts of violence not only on others but on themselves as well. Ghost Rider arrives to put an end to the insanity and delivers his Penance Stare to Madcap. Madcap emerges reveling in the pain that he has not felt since the incident that made who he is now. Now, Dan must embark on a mission to seek out his birth parents and discover who he really is.
