Through Mephisto's manipulations, Michael Badilino has become Vengeance. Now he seeks to destroy Ghost Rider. First, he strikes at Caretaker hoping to learn Ghost Rider's whereabouts. Then tracking Ghost Rider to Dan's apartment the two duke it out neither one giving up any ground. Finally, Caretaker sacrifices himself so that Blaze and Ghost Rider can escape and prepare for what's to come.
