The problems in the 58th Century continue to escalate, particularly after Ch'p and Ub'x restore Salaak's memory. Salaak draws Arisia and Hal from the 20th Century to begin negotiating for peace, but the talks soon break down into combat. When it's all said and done, not every time traveler makes the return trip home.
