Peter has saved Barney Wicker, but Hydro-Man appears behind him. He manages to escape with the aid of some of New York's finest. Soon, Sandman and Hydro-Man meet and start to bicker over the same woman, who encourages them to team up. Peter gets wind of their fight while at the Bugle, and decides to find them before they find him, even though he's not completely healed.
