Banner is picked up by the Lady Diana ship, whose captain is Walter Newell, A.K.A. the Stingray. Newell takes Banner to shore, ignorant of the fact that Banner is really the Hulk. When Newell finds out, he goes after the Hulk and fights with him. Hulk is about to kill him, but Jim Wilson gets in the way, saving Stingray's life, and Hulk leaps away.
