Six costumed youths, Nuklon, Fury, Jade, Obsidian, Northwind, and Silver Scarab, crash a Christmas Eve meeting of the Justice Society of America and petition to be allowed in. After a brief scuffle, the Society members discover that the sextet are either children of JSA members or of old friends, and that Jade and Obsidian claim to be Green Lantern's children, though he has no memory of them. When the Justice Society says that the six of them need more experience, the youth go their own way. Minutes later, another party-crasher barges in, appearing to be the Brain Wave.
