The Mighty Crusaders are drawn into conflict with Atlantean rogue Eterno the Conqueror, through his proxy the Brain Emperor, who has in turn recruited elements of the Mafia. The Crusaders fight off Eterno's immense piloted androids, but the villain brings Atlantis to the surface of the sea, as part of a plan to amass sufficient power to rule the world.
