When the Titans attack the H.I.V.E.’s undersea base in their T-Sub, counterattacks are mounted against them at the orders of the H.I.V.E. leader, a woman who is apparently the widow of the late organizer of the criminal combine. Aquagirl is the first to penetrate the base, only to be blasted by H.I.V.E. troops. Sensing Tula’s distress, Raven teleports into the midst of their enemies and, unleashing a burst of Trigon-like power, nearly destroys her attackers before she comes to her senses.
Back in New York Cyborg confronts his grandparents, finally making his peace with them after expressing his anger at their missing his father’s funeral, while Changeling continues to stalk the streets attacking criminals. At the H.I.V.E. base, an exhausted Raven stays behind to guard the sub, while the others fight their way to the central chamber. As soon as they enter the room, the H.I.V.E. mistress seals them in, ejecting the entire chamber from the base and blows it up.
