In Shining Iron, Part 1
Tony Stark receives word that one of his Iron Man helmets has been found by archeologists, in a dig dating back 1000 years. Rather than gathering data from the helmet via scientific methods, Tony immediately jumps into his new time machine and transports himself to the past, not knowing that the helmet that was found had a skull within.
