Dormammu has sent the Hood on a quest to obtain relics powerful enough to become the new Sorceror Supreme. It is only with Wiccan's help that Dr. Strange escapes the attack, allowing him to visit the Avengers to rest and recover. When they realize the Hood is involved, they decide to accompany Strange on his hunt for the Hood, and they head to New Orleans.
