Genocide has torn a bloody swath through Diana's life, and she thought she'd dealt with those responsible for it's creation. But while visiting Etta Candy and Nemesis in the hospital, she learns the darker truth of Genocide's creation. As Achilles the Olympian is Zeus' answer to Diana, so is Genocide Ares' creation. Influencing mortals through their dreams, he brought about the creation of a being that would owe it's sole devotion to the god of war.

Now, manipulating Achilles and Zeus' Olympians, Ares works to bring about the Earth's final war.
