The Marauders' attack has caught the X-Men completely flat-footed. Quickly realizing that surprise has cost the X-Men any hope of victory, Emma uses her mental gifts to cause Cannonball to seize Iceman and flee. With him, she sends the Marauders objectives and targets, as she has gleaned from information leaking through their psi-shielding.But even as Cannonball and Iceman struggle to escape, another band of unforeseen enemies descends on Xavier's school.
