Through a stunning legal strategy, Vince Oleck is turning a Richie Forgione's impossible murder case into a victory. By applying the standards of superhuman crimes to this murder, and parading instances of shape-shifters, mind control, and evil twins from other dimensions, he's introduced enough doubt that Richie was actually the murderer that it looks like he'll win a full acquittal. But Richie's father, the head of the Forgione crime family, is determined that Vince is going to work for the family full-time. And while Vince's life was threatened if he should lose, the Forgiones are threatening his family if he refuses this offer.
