Annihilation: Silver Surfer

The Silver Surfer visits what's left of Xandar to find Gabriel the Air-Walker and the Seekers of Annihilus. The attack on Xandar is revealed to be a ploy to draw out Gabriel and other former heralds of Galactus, so Annihilus can consumer their energies. Gabriel is destroyed, but the Surfer survives to fight again another day. Thanos and his lackies also witness these events, so Thanos sends forth the Fallen One to announce his intent to ally himself with Annihilus.
