City of Heroes, Vol. 2

Vanguard, a group of heroes that was decimated fighting the Rikti Invasion of Paragon City years ago is re-forming, and at it's heart is a former companion of Statesman, and a founding member of the Freedom Phalanx... The Dark Watcher. The Watcher warned Statesman of a coming Rikti threat, stating that the Phalanx was not prepared to deal with it. Statesman didn't listen, and now the Phalanx has been crippled by the Rikti. Only Positron and Statesman are still able to fight. But do they want to? Hero 1, who lead the Omega Team to take the fight to the Rikti homeworld has returned... but under Rikti influence. Even if Statesman and Positron have the will to fight their old comrade, are they strong enough to stop him?
