Bruce Banner makes an appointment with Tony Stark to see if Stark can develop nanotechnology to keep the Hulk in check. Stark accepts the challenge, and the two head to his remote IronWorks facility, unaware that they are playing into the hands of Pete Wisdom, who is called the "Leader" by his subservients. At the IronWorks facility, Stark uses a tank to simulate pressures on different planets to trigger Banner's change. Once triggered, they are disturbed to learn that the Hulk adapts his own cellular structure to face whatever challenges arise, rendering their failsafe plans useless when the Hulk decides to break out of containment and attack.
