A bizarre murder has taken place in Gotham that ties back to a fifty year old unsolved murder case. This new crime has drawn the original Green Lantern, Alan Scott, back to Gotham where he and Batman are pursuing the investigation. But even when a second body is discovered, the pair are left without any leads.While Batman and Green Lantern investigate the murder, Jim Gordon begins to dig up whatever information he can from the original crimes, believing that if he can determine who was behind them then that knowledge will lead him to the current perpetrator.
