The metal covering Julie's chest has struck out again, but this time at American soldiers. With Dillon's help she manages to escape before more soldiers can arrive. Professor Foster is concerned over just how much of the Beta Suit has bonded to her, and at what might happen when Julie realizes how much the strange metal is capable of.

With the help of some biker friends, Dillon and Julie head out of town planning to lay low at a small town in Nevada. But the NSB agent on their tail, Ivy Raven, is smart and resourceful.
