Part 1: The Saviors
Jericho begins the “transference procedure” on the kidnapped Titans, as a captured Nightwing tries to stop him. The Wildebeests stop him and place Nightwing in a holding cell with a man who proclaims to be the original Wildebeest leader. Jericho observes a growing fetus in one of the Wildebeest Labs.
In the cell, the Wildebeest tells Nightwing about how he created the Wildebeests: The Wildebeest Society was formed as a criminal organization using a clever strategy of permitting only one member to be seen in public at any one time. This created the belief that there was only one Wildebeest, a menace whose methods would appear complicated and motives would not be able to be discerned. The Society was then taken over by Jericho, and the original leader was thrown in a cell, left to rot.
Meanwhile, Troia, Deathstroke, Red Star, Dayton, Pantha, Phantasm and Arella track down the Wildebeest headquarters and discover it in the Dimension Azarath.
