Blue Beetle, Vol. 8 (2006-2009)

Green Lantern Guy Gardner seeks out Blue Beetle, attempting to explain why at their first meeting he was so eager to attack him. He reveals that the Reach, the aliens who constructed the Beetle's armour, were once foes of the Guardians of The Universe and the GL's rings and the Reach's armour - both being semi-sentient - have a mutual dislike of each other.Confronting the Reach's spokesman, both Beetle and Gardner realise that until the aliens perform a hostile act with witnesses, there is little they can do.
