Hal Jordan has a history of defying the orders of the Guardians of Oa, so when the Guardians declared that none of the Green Lantern Corps would go to aid Ion, despite the fact that his powers were apparently driving him mad, he went off to find Kyle anyway. After finally tracking down Ion, he learned that the man he had found wasn't Kyle Rayner. It was Kevin Nero.Kyle has been on Mogo, becoming more in tune with not only the Lantern energy, but also the Power Pulse he received from Jade when she died. But can even these two subdue an insane mind that can somehow tap into Ion's energy?
