The New Titans

Aqualad’s condition is stabilized, saving his life for the time being. Deathstroke and Dayton locate Arella, whose ranch in Wyoming has been devastated by Wildebeest. A traumatized Arella details the attacker as a lion-shaped shadowed creature that killed all of the ranch’s residents except herself.

Meanwhile, two Wildebeest agents are assigned to capture Danny Chase in Washington DC. A mysterious cat-creature, Pantha, lurks in the shadows, spying on Wildebeest agents. At a shopping mall, Danny Chase is ambushed by Wildebeests, seemingly killing the teen telekenetic, just as Deathstroke, Dayton and Arella arrive. The carnage is interrupted by a mysterious floating entity that announces itself as the Phantasm. Deathstroke, Dayton and Arella retreat to Titans Tower to plan their next move while the two Wildebeests arrive at their headquarters, which is filled with Wildebeest agents.
