When her career as a navy aviator runs into a dead end, Celia Forrestal returns home to St. Louis to decide on a new direction for her life. While there, her parents show her the project they've been working on... The Argo Harness. It captures and transmutes energy. Despite the obvious interest from the military, though, her parents don't want to see their creation become a weapon.
But others have heard of the harness' potential and Scorpio has come to St. Louis in an attempt to secure it for their employers.
