Tom Strong has tracked down Joey Estrada, a.k.a. Sophie Bangs, the modern era's Promethea. He corners her and forces her to reveal that Promethea is destined to destroy the world should Sophie assume the mantle of Promethea again. However, when they are tracked down by the FBI, led by Agents Ball and Breughel, seeking to capture or kill Sophie before she can transform, Tom finds the situation quickly escalating beyond his control...
