X-Men: The Hidden Years

The X-Men manage to retrieve a gamma-device from the SouthWest that should help the Professor come out of his coma. But when he does, he acts a bit more overbearing than he has for some time, criticizing the X-Men's performance and handing out demerits as though they're still in school.

Angry that they didn't check to make sure that Magneto had truly perished in their last encounter with him, he dispatches them to return to the Savage Land to make certain. But Iceman has had enough of Professor X. Faking his own death was a breach of trust that Bobby Drake can't get around, and he decides to leave the team. But when the X-Men encounter trouble in the Savage Land, that leaves only Alex and Lorna to help them!
