The Beverly Hillbillies (1962 - 1971) is an American sitcom that was one of the most successful comedies in the history of American television. The story of Jed Clampett, a widowed, simple backwoods mountaineer who becomes a millionaire when oil is discovered on his property in Sibly (an Ozark community). Episodes relate his misadventures when he and his family move to Beverly Hills, California, and struggle to adjust to the fast, sophisticated modern life of the big city.

Mrs. Drysdale recommends Elly for a high-brow finishing school hoping that humiliating her will drive the Clampetts away, but Miss Hathaway convinces the school girls that Elly's country bumpkin clothing is now the height of fashion.

Cynthia Fenwick makes her filthy rich mother dress in the "Clampett Look" when they visit the Clampetts because she believes Elly is an iconic fashion maven. This only serves to reinforce the Clampett's belief that the Fenwicks are poor.

Mr. Drysdale and Miss Jane help country musicians Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs try to find a city woman for Jed the same way they found theirs, by holding auditions for backup singers.

The Weather Bureau says their satellite predicts fair and clear. Granny's beetle says rain. The Weather Bureau meets the beetle.

Mr. Drysdale has a replica made of Jed's old cabin and sets it up in the Clampett's backyard to surprise a homesick Granny on her birthday. A coed with a sociology major thinks that they live there as the Drysdale's oppressed servants.

35 Jed Foils a Home Wrecker 30 min | Jun 03, 1964

Mrs. Drysdale hires a demolition man to remove the Clampett's cabin. Mr. Drysdale decides to occupy the cabin so it can't be removed. The Clampetts think a "home wrecker" is breaking up the Drysdale's marriage.

36 Jethro's Graduation 30 min | Jun 10, 1964

Jethro's running late for his graduation ceremony despite his new watch. Mrs. Potts of Jethro's school is afraid that his attendance will jeopardize her chances for a new endowment. Skipper saves the day.
