Terminator 2 T2 Judgment Day 137 min. R 1991
The second installment of the Terminator trilogy focuses on the early life of John Connor. John, the son of Sarah Connor, is living with foster parents in Los Angeles. He is something of a juvenile delinquent at this stage of his life. The story gets moving when two different cyborgs, known as terminators, are sent back in time. One of the terminators is composed of liquid metal is known as the T1000. This advanced machine's goal is to kill John Connor. The other terminator is a T800, portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is more primitive than the liquid metal design, and has the objective of saving the life of John Connor.

Terminator 3 Rise Of The Machines 109 min. R 2003
"Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" is the third leg in the popular Terminator movie series. It stars Nick Stahl as a grown up John Connor and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who returns as a "good guy" terminator. Arnold's mission this time is to protect both Katherine Brewster and John Connor from a more advanced T-X terminator. Skynet, a computerized defense system, is put in charge of the government military systems. It turns out that Skynet has become self aware and tries to destroy the human race. Since the human race's survival depends on John Connor, the "old" terminator (Arnold) is sent back to shelter both him and Brewster, who will be Connor's future wife. The second T-X terminator is sent back through time in an effort to kill off Connor's future high ranking captains in an effort to gain an advantage in the coming war between humans and machines.

Terminator 4 Terminator Salvation 115 min. R 2009
Set during the year of 2018 after a nuclear war started by Skynet, a self-aware computer programm, mankind is on the brink of extinction. Salvation lies with the human resistance, and one man in particular; John Connor (Christian Bale). John Connor feels as though he understands and knows his robotic enemies, but this radically changes when he encounters Marcus Wright ( Sam Worthington). Marcus believes he is completely human, but Connor discovers there is more to Marcus then he realizes. Marcus tries to earn Connors trust by informing him the location of Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin), an important character in the future of the survival of the human race. This leads Connor and Marcus on a journey into the heart of the machine operation and possible extinction. Not only of the resistance, but of the entire human race.

The year is 2029. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines. At the Los Angeles offensive, John's fears of the unknown future begin to emerge when TECOM spies reveal a new plot by SkyNet that will attack him from both fronts; past and future, and will ultimately change warfare forever.

Terminator 6 Dark Fate 128 min. PG-13 2019
The Mexican worker Dani Ramos is hunted down by the indestructible terminator from the future REV-9 that kills her father and brother and is protected by the enhanced soldier also from the future Grace. They flee from the unstoppable terminator and out of the blue Sarah Connor helps them on the road. They head to Laredo, Texas, where Grace has the coordinates of a possible support and they meet the T-800 that killed John Connor and is living in an isolated with his family composed by a wife and a son for a long time. The group teams up to try to destroy the REV-9.
