The Fast & The Furious is about gangs of people who do illegal late night street races. In the movie, Domenic Toretto, is the leader of a street gang that is under suspicion of hijacking trucks for their cargo of expensive electronic equipment. Brian O'Conner is an undercover police officer who infiltrates an underworld street racing subculture of Los Angeles and attempt to find out who exactly is stealing the equipment and arrest them. This is complicated when the officer falls in love with Domenic's younger sister, Mia Toretto and the fact that his superiors in the FBI and LAPD are pressuring him to finish his investigation and make arrests.

The Fast And The Furious 2 Fast 2 Furious 104 min. 2003 PG-13
Brain O'Conner (Paul Walker) runs from LA, ensuing criminal actions from the previous Fast and the Furious installment. He runs to Miami where he earns money and respect by street racing. However, he is caught by the police. Agent Bilkins, another familiar face from the first movie, offers Brian a deal. Rather than going to jail he can go undercover, working for Carter Verone. Verone is a drug lord with a high bankroll. Brian accepts under the pretence that he can pick his own partner. He travels back to his (assumably) once home and recruits childhood friend Roman Pierce (Tyrese). O'Conner and Pierce work with Monica Clemente (Eva Mendes) to try and bring down Verone.

The Fast And The Furious 3 Tokyo Drift 108 min. 2006 PG-13
Tokyo Drift features Lucas Black as Sean Boswell. Much like the other movies in the Fast and Furious Series, the troubled young man (Boswell) finds his outlet through racing. After challenging a rich and popular classmate in his High School, it's either jail or Japan for Sean. Opting to live with his father in Tokyo, the backdrop for the rest of the movie is set. Against his Father's demands to avoid racing at all costs, Sean becomes sucked in by the local drift racing scene. This is where we are introduced to "Twinkie" played by Bow Wow, who becomes Sean's right hand man. Sean finds himself a target of the local gang after going after a gang member's girl (Nathalie Kelly). In an attempt to earn respect (and the girl, of course), Boswell tries his best to gain respect in the Tokyo drift racing circuit. From here on, the movie is strictly about racing.

The Fast And The Furious 4 Fast Furious 107 min. 2009 PG-13
Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) have not quit their old job even now when they are in the Dominican Republic. With a new gang, they continue their work of robbing the convoys of gasoline tanks while they are on the road. Meanwhile, Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) became a federal agent. But when a crime brings Toretto an Brian back in Los Angeles, the two become friends once again on the streets where it all began. They have a mutual enemy in the form of a big drug dealer from Latin America. Their roads come across the roads and tunnels from the international borders, and the only way of revenge is to overcome the limits behind the steering wheel.

Since Brian and Mia Toretto broke Dom out of custody, they've blown across many borders to elude authorities. The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.

Dominic and his crew thought they'd left the criminal mercenary life behind. They'd defeated international terrorist Owen Shaw and went their separate ways.
