As Sinbad (Kerwin Matthews) and his crew sail to Bagdad carrying Princess Parisa (Kathryn Grant) and her handmaiden Sadi (Nana DeHerrera) they stop at the Island of Collossus for supplies. While there the magician Sokurah (Torin Thatcher) helps them escape from the dangers of the island using his magic lamp. The lamp is lost and all return to Bagdad. The magician wants to return to Collossus and retrieve his lamp but the Caliph won't allow it. The magician sneaks into Parisa's bedroom and shrinks her down to a tiny size so he can use fetching the ingredients for her cure as an excuse to return to the island.
