Battleship Potemkin (Blu-Ray)

Battleship Potemkin is the portrayal of actual events during the Russian Revolution. The story begins with crew members of the Battleship Potemkin conjuring up and acting on ideas of revolution and mutiny aboard their ship due to the horrible conditions. The sailors are given rotten meat which becomes the last straw in their hesitance towards revolting and they quickly overtake the ship. Their plan is to travel back to their home port of Odessa where the will further invoke revolution amongst the Russian people. When they return the sailors and their leader, Grigory Vakulinchuk (Aleksandr Antonov), are met with hostile resistance by the loyalist soldiers and the fight for their freedom begins.
