Grad student Taylor (Angela Goethals) is conducting a documentary on Leslie Vernon (Nathan Baesal), a boy who appears to be slated for serial killing in his future... an idea thought up by her due to him already having a myth surrounding him, as well as his appreciation for past slasher flick icons. Attempting to set up similar, cookie-cutter factors from those movies into Leslie's real life, she finds it's worked too well, successfully placing her and others in danger.
