Breaker Morant (Blu-Ray)

In 1901, during the South African Boer War, several Australian soldiers are on trial in a military court run by the British. They have been accused of murdering a group of prisoners as well as a missionary. The men on trial include Peter Handcock (Bryan Brown), Harry “Breaker” Morant (Edward Woodward), and George Witton (Lewis Fitz-gerald). Morant was born in England but spent a long time in Australia. He claims that he was only following some unofficial orders. They have a lawyer from Australia, Major Thomas (Jack Thompson), who tries very hard to get them a hearing. Their superiors have committed wrongdoings and use the accused men to take attention away from this fact.
