Fierce People

Liz (Diane Lane) is the mother of 16-year old Finn (Anton Yelchin), who both live in New York’s lower east side. Liz works as a masseuse and is barely making ends meet, due to her drug addiction. Finn’s only dream is to finally escape from under his mom and study the “Fierce People”, also known as the Iskanani Indians, in South Africa. Liz’ lifestyle, however, causes her son to get arrested while trying to support his mom’s addiction. One day, Liz decides to move herself and Finn into a guest house of a former client named Ogden C. Osbourne (Donald Sutherland), where they get to experience and learn about the life of the super rich.
