After Alex (Devon Sawa) has a vision where he and all of his friends die in a plane crash, a few moments before departing on a school trip, he and a few friends decide to get off the plane only to watch the exact crash happen in front of them. Soon, everyone who was supposed to die in the plane crash end up dying violently and they soon realize that they can't escape death. Ali Larter, Kerr Smith and Seann William Scott also star in this teenage horror mystery.

Kimberly Corman (AJ Cook) dreams of a horrible car accident on the highway while on a trip. She blocks traffic on the road and the accident indeed takes place, but a few people survive thanks to Kimberly. However, the survivors keep dying one by one. Kimberly takes help from Clear Rivers (Ali Larter), the sole survivor of Flight 180 who had a similar dream. They are assisted by a police officer Thomas Burke (Michael Landes) and a mortician William Bludworth (Tony Todd). But they are in a fast race against time unttil the moment when it's Kimberly's turn to die.

What is it like to cheat death, and what does it feel like to know it’s after you? All too soon a group of high-school friends find the answer to these two questions. A group of high-school students escape death only to have death come to claim them one by one. Will any of the students figure out the way to escape death for the final time or will it catch up with them all? What would you do if you could figure out and beat the death? Would death really let you slip through it’s fingers once again or is it just basically faking you out and will sneak up and grab you when you last expect it.
