Miracle On 34th Street 1994 (Blu-Ray)

In this heartfelt remake of the old classic, Susan Walker (Mara Wilson) is the little girl who doesn’t have Christmas spirit because her mother, Dorey Walker (Elizabeth Perkins) told her the “truth” about Santa Claus a long time ago. Dorey works in a department store and was placed in charge of finding the Santa for the Thanksgiving Day parade. Kris Kringle (Richard Attenborough) is the perfect Santa, too perfect. Kris believes that he is Santa. Thinking the man nice, if not slightly crazy, Dorey lets him into her life. Kris sets out to prove that he is Santa and restore Dorey and Susan’s Christmas spirit. Bryan Bedford (Dylan McDermott) is a lawyer that is interested in Dorey and believes Kris to be Santa. When Kris is to be sent to a mental institution, it is up to Bryan to prove in court that he is, in fact, Santa Claus. Meanwhile, Susan has started to believe in Kris, but has told him that there is something special she wants for Christmas. She knows that only the real Santa could deliver it and restore her belief in Christmas.
